gifted by God

& music––
he learned to dance
with smiles.
then there was Christa,
his bride,––
his timeless love––
they met
& their hearts
began to swirl
in their embrace––
& God held their hearts
in his hands
just to love
them.
when Gebhard arrived
in heaven
he realized
Christa was always
with him––
& the angels
cheer to love & laugh
with him
as he jokes & performs
on his harmonica.
