we may as well forgive them, heaven knows.
they won’t be staying with us long. won't pay the rent.
without a heart their brown-paper blue prints will fade,
their ideas rust & arrogance be forgot.
& when they leave our worksite, profitably behind,
they’ll find some higher bidder who doesn’t know any better
than they.
