i have freedom––
others don’t.
i have wealth
for what I need––
others don’t.
i have loved ones
near––
others don’t.
& a job & a name
in the world––
others don’t.
when so many
are suffering &
the world is bleeding––
to give is
not enough––
to pray is
not enough––
to give thanks is
not enough.
the heart
the soul
the will
know
what to
do.
& peace will
sometime
come.
